Wood Badge is unlike any other experience. Since 1919, Wood Badge has provided an opportunity for Scouting leadership training worldwide. Wood Badge came to the US in 1936, and the current Wood Badge course incorporates advanced Scouting training and training in ethical business leadership.

The Wood Badge course is delivered in Pine Tree Council every two years. It takes place over the course of two three-day weekends, followed by a six-to-eighteen month practical project for the participant. Wood Badge provides an exceptional opportunity for personal growth, to elevate your Scouting experience, and to deliver service to improve Scouting.
